Used to make changes to a
structural member's endpoint by modifying or extending the end to point.

| Modify Type
|
Sets the type of end modification to perform:
- Modify end to point
— Modifies the length of the structural member to a length identified by your
data point.
- Extends end to
point — Extends the length of the structural member to a length identified by
your data point. Enables the Distance and Add Member controls.

| Distance
|
When on, lets you specify the amount to modify the
selected member's end. Only available when Modify Type is set to Extend end to
point.

| Add Member
|
The selected member is not lengthened, but is
amended by the placement of another identical-type member. Only available when
Modify Type is set to Extend end to point.
Tip: The
added members using extended end points can be joined back using the
Join Elements tool.
